Family Mini Sessions in Mokena IL

This family mini session was located at Hickory Creek Preserve in Mokena, Illinois. It was one of my favorite mini sessions to date! I worked with this fun group of three (almost four) for about thirty minutes AND because their positive energy was so amazing, I was able to capture a full gallery of images in a matter of minutes. Mini sessions are perfect for those looking for updated family photos, a wall gallery display, or small album design! Family mini sessions are booked at local preserves near Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox, Illinois or my studio in Homer Glen. Check out these great tips for a successful mini session. When clients bring a super positive vibe with them and truly enjoy their session it is a game changer. I gently remind my clients ‘I can’t ‘photoshop’ a good time’. I ask that they relax, leave work at work, and to just enjoy these moments during their session. During this session, these parents were able to focus their energy on their daughter – play – laugh – giggle and truly enjoy their time spent together. It was a beautiful thing to witness.

This session day happened to be pretty windy – but instead of worrying about fly-aways and blowing hair mom embraced the movement and went with it. She tied up her daughter’s hair in the most adorable pig tails and I think that actually made the session as special as can be. Her little dress jean dress and crooked piggies will be adorable for a lifetime.
