Simple and natural baby session

My style of baby photography has been described as organic and natural.  I found that bringing a level of simplicity to every session brought out my authenticity and creativity.  During this simple and natural baby session, I used only a couple of props to make this session simple and really focus on the baby.  We used a wooden ornament, a simple scarf, a white diaper, and two cotton clothing items. Baby P, from New Lenox, IL, was a super sweet and warm presence in out Homer Glen studio.

This sweet baby is one of my baby planners.  She will be coming at 7 months, 12 months, and again at 18 months of age.  I can not wait to watch this girl grow over the year and enjoyed working with her mom very much.  Enjoy your sneak peek of this simple and natural baby session M family!

How to plan for your baby session

I will send you a reminder list of things to bring for our session but some of those things include a snack and extra bottle for baby, a special lovie or blanket that he or she plays with often, and one simple outfit.  If you are unsure of what to have your baby wear, I have a complimentary baby wardrobe at my studio including items that fit babies 0-18 months.  Clothing items include cotton rompers, bloomers, linen pants, knit sweaters, and simple organic cotton tanks.  This curated collection is a culmination of my favorite vendors, boutique items, along with simple pieces I have collected over the years.  They look adorable on little babies and keep the session looking natural and simple.
