A New Brand

So what is all of this talk about a new brand?  I am getting emails and messages from friends and clients asking what is going to happen to Elle Baker Photography?!  I ASSURE you EBP is here to stay.  As an artist however, I feel it necessary to explore photography from a creative standpoint.  Weddings are not for me.  High school seniors aren’t a speciality of mine.  BUT boudoir photography was introduced to me years ago and it always has been a huge motivator to me.  It is uplifting and a powerful art form and being able to work with amazing women has opened so many doors for me. From workshops to publications it really has inspired me as an artist.  I had a hard time meshing Elle Baker baby and family photography with boudoir photos so I decided to create a sister company.   A year ago I created a new brand Boudoir By Elle which exclusively showcased my boudoir work.

What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir portrait photography is more than just a ‘sexy photo shoot’.  I cringe when I hear people talking about it in such a casual way.  To me, boudoir photography is a beautiful journey of self discovery.  It’s about EMPOWERMENT, showing your FEMININITY, proving your STRENGTH, giving HONOR to your body, displaying TRIUMPH, and most of all, CELEBRATING who you are right now.
