Summer Family Photography

I’m sitting on the balcony of our vacation rental reminiscing about this beautiful session I photographed this past May.  I have quite a few sessions from the spring and summer months that I need to blog and catch up on, but to start, I just had to share this one with you all. I absolutely adored working with the ‘T’ family and loved the simplicity of this gallery.  There is something so understated and beautiful about this summer family photography session and I hope you enjoy the viewing.

April showers bring May flowers

This session took place in late May this year.  The evening temperature was perfect, the location was gorgeous, and the family was a wonderful group of three.  They exuded so much love for one another and really enjoyed being together.  Baby Alice was so sweet and loved picking up flowers, sticks, and dandelions.  It was the cutest thing watching her toddle and go on nature walks hand in hand with her parents.

Best time of year to schedule a session

Summer family photography sessions are always my most favorite sessions.  Dresses and clothing options are kept light weight, comfortable, and simple.  Girls in long maxi dresses moving in open fields makes for a breathtaking gallery and I love the summer evening feel.  Most of my sessions take place in local fields with long grasses and during the warm summer sunset.
