The first few days after your baby is born are truly extraordinary. Mothers experience a whirlwind of emotions.  You are recovering from giving birth yet so overjoyed by the experience of bringing a new life into the world.  Preparing for the big delivery day, you tell yourself that you are going to cherish every moment, yet it almost seems impossible to remember the details when looking back.  I share these thoughts with you as a mother myself.  I enter every hospital room or birthing center with my camera in hand and a heart filled with a passion of documenting the smallest details to help you remember this beautiful time. Welcome Sweet Nolan

I spent the most beautiful Chicago spring day visiting a couple of old friends at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.  This lovely family welcomed her third baby into this world and I had the privilege of documenting this sweet baby.  Little baby Nolan was a ‘fresh’ twenty four hours old and the sweetest cheeks and squishy legs.  All 9 pounds, 11 ounces of him was absolutely perfect in every way.
