In our home, one of our most favorite holiday traditions has to be the day we set up our Christmas tree.  We always decorate our tree the day after Thanksgiving.  My husband brings up four giant bins of ornaments and my kids dive right into all of the boxes.  Every ornament tells a special story and we relive those moments with them every year.  I am in charge of adding on more lights, seven extra strands to be exact, and my kids are in charge of laying out all of the ornaments on the couch. After just about an hour, our family room is filled with twinkling lights, red and green, and just feels so cozy with the tree decorated.

My lifestyle stories

My little guy takes his job of ‘decorating with the big or-ma-ments’ very seriously.  In this special lifestyle story, I captured just a few moments of my little guy picking out his favorite ornaments and putting them on our Christmas tree.  He was so careful to choose the best location of every ornament and had to make sure they were evenly placed all around.  The bottom three feet of our tree always fills the fastest and looks the most beautiful.
