V family, party of six! 

Fall is here in Chicago and we lucked out with this gorgeous evening.  Between this GORGEOUS group of six, the warmer October weather, and the cotton candy skies, this session was a dream.  When this mom emailed me and mentioned that one of her favorite artists is (the amazing) Maria Lang and Emily Lucarz, I knew we would be friends immediately.  Mom was inspired by editorial style photos and my head started spinning immediately planning the session.  Luckily she had amazing taste and styled this session using some of my favorite stores which added a great look to this gallery.  I love large family photo sessions and hope you enjoy this gallery as much as I do!  Enjoy V Family!

This little guy was quiet and reserved at first, but after a little joking and tickling, he opened right up.

Large family sessions

When I get the call that the family of six plus would like a session I get so excited and the wheels start turning!  There is something so magical about grouping a large loving family together and watch them all interact with one another.  I offer lifestyle family sessions which allow for a much more relaxed and candid approach to large family sessions.  We laugh and joke making the session move smoothly from scene to scene.

Plan your session for next year

I know, I know, fall 2017 is not even over and I’m talking about 2018 already!  BUT guys, in case you didn’t know, August-October are the busiest time of year for all family portrait photographers and sessions book really fast.  If you didn’t get in for a fall session this year, CONTACT me about 2018 and we can get your session reserved!

I have three scheduling blocks throughout the year.  January-April, May-August, and September-November.  The best way to find out when a scheduling block opens is on my newsletter OR social media (Instagram or Facebook)!
