On Saturday’s we wear pajamas

SaturYAY!  I love breaks in our hectic schedules and having lazy weekends.  This is the first time in a while that we had a relaxing morning and were able to snuggle in bed.  I love their giggles and goofy stories and I love cuddling with them and enjoying these simple mornings with them so much.

My lifestyle stories

In this lifestyle story, I am grabbed my camera and wanted to document this moment of fun with my kids.  They were telling these ridiculously funny stories and their giggles were so precious.

These three are all so different yet so alike in a lot of ways.

Three little monkey’s jumping on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head!

He loves his big sissy so much.

She can dish out the tickles but hates being tickled herself.  Stinker.

Tips on how to photograph your kiddos in bed!

• Use a wide angle lens.  I used my 35mm here which allows me to capture the full scene.  I love the way this lens gives a storytelling feel.
• Open all of your blinds and curtains to allow light in.  This allows your ISO to be set as low as possible which will reduce noise/grain in your images.
• Shoot from all angles!  Stand on the bed and shoot overhead, stand to the left, right, and center of the bed, and get down low for different perspectives.  This will help tell your story through the images.
